Flight Terminator - Safety System 869
Flight terminator long haul 869 MHz
The Flight Terminator Safety System 869 is comprised of a MASTER unit (remote control) and from a SLAVE unit (installed on the drone).
The radio communication between the units takes place on the band 869 MHz license-free and in compliance with the rules in force in Europe CEPT 70-03. The radio communication is also protected by cryptographic keys that prevent any attempt to breach the radio code by third parties during flight.
The MASTER unit is also equipped with 4 LEDs:
- LED – BA TT: normally off, it blinks when the battery reaches 6,6V
- LED – LINK: It stays on if the master receives from slave the keep-alive signal. And it's off if the master receives from slave NOT signal of keep-alive. It flashes if you disable the keep-alive
- LED – RX: It lights up when the output of the slave is active, if off it disables
- SLED – TX: it is on while sending the signal keep-alive
The average consumption is about 50mA, the SLAVE unit can be powered by batteries LiPo from 3S to 6S.
